Guests


Use of the Club house and facilities is restricted to members and guests according to the following:

Dining Guests

  1. All parties regardless of size shall be attended and sponsored by a member in good standing.

  2. The Director of Food and Beverage Service shall be contacted by the sponsor and arrangements made as to the date, time, attendance, menu, etc.( and the sponsor, and the party having the event must sign a confirmation sheet from the Club before the date can be permanently reserved.)

    1. If the party attendance is to be under 25, the Director can make all arrangements.

    2. If the party is 25 or more, final approval must be obtained from the House Committee Chairman.


Golf Guests

  1. All events of 20 or more guests require Board approval. They shall be invitational and arranged without public advertising that the event is being held at the Jefferson City Country Club. All participants for such events shall pay green fees as determined by the Board.

  2. All events involving more than five but less than 20 guests must register with the Golf Pro and schedule a tee time with the Golf Pro at least one day in advance. Such Events are limited to tee on weekdays (holidays not included) before 11:00 am. or after 2:00 pm. unless otherwise granted permission by the Golf Committee in advance.


Tennis Guests

  1. There will be a daily fee for each non-member. The Host shall sign a charge ticket at the Tennis Pro Shop or at the Bar.

  2. A resident non-member is limited to 10 guest play occasions per year. (Not including invitational tournaments.)


Swimming Guests

  1. During hours of operation a lifeguard will be on duty. The pool shall be used only when a lifeguard is on duty.

  2. Private parties held after regular hours must be arranged through the pool committee.

  3. All guests must register with the lifeguards and pay current guest fees.


Lake Guests

  1. Must be accompanied by a member at all times. Guest are limited to seven (7) occasions per year excluding any open events held.


Dress Code Policies

  • Dining Dress Code
      1. Appropriate dining attire is required for service in the Main Dining Room, Parquet Room and Porch during and after hours.
      2. Lunch Dress may be casual in the Main Dining Room, but excludes bathing suits or shorts for both men and ladies. Dress for luncheon in the Parquet Room or Bar area may be sports outfits including shorts, but excludes bathing suits.
      3. Dinner Dress in the Main Dining Room requires a jacket for gentlemen, a necktie is optional especially in summer weather, and appropriate dress or slacks for ladies. Sport shirts only and shorts will not be permitted for men or ladies. The Parquet Room and Bar will be available in the evening for golfers, tennis players, etc., in sport shirts and shorts depending upon the season of the year.
      4. There are no restrictions on dress in the 19th Hole, except a cover-up must be worn over a bathing suit.
  • Golf Dress Code
    • During golf season, appropriate attire must be worn by member or member’s guest, i.e. shirt with collar that must be tucked in at all times, no jeans, no cut-offs, no bathing suits, no caps backwards, gym shorts or running shorts, etc.

      Spikeless Shoe Policy as follows:

      1. All golfers shall wear spikeless golf shoes, unless such players shall request from the pro shop an exemption policy, based upon health or safety reasons. Players not requesting an exemption will be deemed to have knowingly consented to playing with spikeless shoes and waiving and releasing Jefferson City Country Club from any claim or liability associated with this policy.

      2. The Sponsors of tournaments and outside golf events shall be informed of the policy and shall be responsible for notifying and obtaining compliance with this policy.

      3. Golf shoes with metal spikes prohibited in the Clubhouse.

  • Tennis Dress Code
      1. Tennis attire only may be worn on the courts--no cutoffs, bathing suits, tank tops, etc. Men of all ages must wear a collared shirt after 5:00 pm

      2. Tennis shoes only-no running or basketball shoes.
